It's working well and I noticed that the globe is held in place with some type of bolt rather than the standard wire globe carrier. I have seen that style of pump before and the link below shows other pumps from that period. 4 Tilley WW2., pumps.
A beautiful lamp, great find in great condition. The hood looks very interesting, not just for the clips to hold the glass but the shape of the spinning. Looking forward to seeing it running, and is that a record for the number of Tilley table lamps on a single table in the background? Great stuff

Thanks Tony, it’s interesting that they made most of the lamp out of steel and the pump and control valve still in brass! At a time when they were melting lamps down for the brass? Thanks again guys, Any knowledge is good knowledge Terry
