Here is my example of this lamp, it was used in a local hall, Tilley do-nut lamps were the standard form of lighting for country public halls and Kirks when I was a lad.

Some Kirks (Churches) used the Tilley CL-72 lamps.

The link below shows the 500cp., burner and it's housing in detail, Jeff.

    Nice lamps, Jeff.
Is there any example of this lamp here?

Hello Jean, yes, it's in decent nick, but 2 of the figure of 8 parts which should be fitted to the hanger were missing when I obtained this lamp, so I removed the third one and just hooked the brass hanging rods into the hanger.

I have had this lamp for many years and those parts are still missing, but I may find them one day.

I have had this lamp working and the light output is excellent, Jeff.

Hello Conny, yes, Tilley do-nut lamps are fine and one never knows where they will turn up, I have even seen them on Ebay USA., Jeff.

These figure of eight bits wouldn't be hard to fashion though Jeff, would they? And you are in good company, I seem to remember Neil posted a picture of a donut not so long ago also missing these bits.
