The restored ones look great, but there's something about seeing a nice old one which still does what it was designed to do all those years ago.

@rayw The only reason why I bought this Tilley lamp was because it wasn't Spectrum plated. Gold X246 and X246A founts are hard to find in Australia, except for the Pork Pie, so she will stay as is.
