Hello all, another weekend has passed us by, Maureen and I decided to go on another road trip so off we went on our adventure this weekend, in total about 500 km or so.
I wonder who did say what a difference a week can make? Sometimes it is even true.:D/

Looks like we have found some more lamps and spare parts that just wanted to come home with me, when they are cheap who can say no right?
I believe we did well, some of these lamps were purchased for spare parts, others will be used to swap parts on other lamps of the same period, that I already have in my collection.

These components will make my other lamps look even better than they already do, sometimes you just run out of good working parts, and other times for example a hood may look better than the one I already have.
So it's change over time, but I always make sure they are the correct part and time period for any given lamp, just as they would have come from the factory to the best of my knowledge that is, or I ask other Forum members for advise.
Just to make it clear no lamps will be harmed.:)

Here are some photos of what came home with me
Starting from the back left Kayen HR11 Radiator, Kayen AP2, Tilley X246, Tilley TL106 Table Lamp, X246, Tilley X359 with a tillite pre-burner, stamp date is March 1960 and a Tilley X246A Brown Hood (harder to find in Australia), so very happy with that one.

In these next photos you will see a Kayen hood with a Tilley Gallery top part only, that is attached to it.
I have seen this only one other time and couldn't believe my luck, as I had a Tilley TL106 Table Lamp that was missing the top part of the gallery, so to my surprise I completed that Gallery and lamp.

Who said lighting can't strike twice, because its happened again and also only cost me $10 for both.
If you are interested here is the link. Tilley TL106, $20 bucks for an Australian one.

I also had in my spares another Bottom part of a gallery, I have combined the two parts now and completed a full gallery, for a spare yeah.

I still have one more bottom half of a gallery, they say things come in threes time will tell.
Also has this happened to anyone else?
