    Garry’s Dad had a huge collection, not just of pressure lamps. That Jacobean looks fantastic.

    Yes Jean, it was quite stained when I got it, took a lot of brasso to Polish it all off.

    Which part was stained ? The original finish of the bowl which the tank sits in was oxidised copper.

    The inside was a mucky black/green colour Henry.
    The outside was brown until I cleaned it up

    Ah, I've had quite a few like that myself. Quite often they don't smell very nice either.
