Tilley FL 2

Hi,this is a tilley floodlight FL2 dated from the early 1930s it has a 14" reflector and not often seen in collections this one need a bit of restoration but i think with a bit of TLC i will get there will post some pics when i get it finished

Hi guys thanks,, it was used on a government building in the 1930s to light it up from the front so i was told buy the person who had it in there garage for the last 60 years she said that when the electric came along they where going to dump them there was tree of them so i don't know where the other two are but her husband took them home to Belfast and over the years they have disappeared [her words] and this one had been in the shed since her husband died but iam only sorry there was one left that's all i know so far,,

Hello Kenny, perhaps you could ask the woman who had that FL2, if any of her late husband's mates are still around, if so, they may recall some details, Jeff.

 

well Jeff, I did some digging around and it may prove fruitfull yet someone is speaking to someone else and i may get a lead so i will keep you posted on my progress if any ...
