Hello @Nuttapon Plenty of information reading through the entries in the Stove Reference Gallery HERE. Extract from a 1950’s catalogue.
That should clean up nicely and then it will be a good example of the final variation of the Primus 1084. The numbers on the label show that it is from 1956 and I am guessing it is a 26 in the middle, so week 26. The 1084 is the quick start version of the 1082 and is a 300cp lamp. The catalogue page shown is for the 1084 S, which was the higher output 450cp lamp. One thing I do find interesting is that the top is nickel plated in the same style as the later 1082 lamps. I do not know whether this has been swapped at some point or Primus used this for their final production. The catalogues only mention the light blue enamel top cap for the 1084 (like the one in the background of your first photo). This has a later production week than any other 1084 lamps from 1956 that I have seen.
Nils is right in his assumption. The last versions of the 1084 were delivered with a chrome hood, same like the 1082. Attached is a catalog image and two very late 1084s with the original chrome hood - one norwegian 1084, one swedish 1084- (please ignore that stupid reflexions on the tanks, there is no hole).
@Nils Stephenson Thank you for another update. So this Primus 1084 is the last version from the 1956 era. Based on what I got, it seems like none of the parts have been replaced or swapped around.
@Assel Thanks for the catalog info on the final model, which shows that the hood is chromed (not enameled). I’ve actually never seen this Primus lantern model in NOS condition before! (The tank isn't defective, right? )
