    Hello, does anyone have any historical information about this particular Primus 1084?

    Hello @Nuttapon
    Plenty of information reading through the entries in the Stove Reference Gallery HERE.

    Extract from a 1950’s catalogue.

    That should clean up nicely and then it will be a good example of the final variation of the Primus 1084. The numbers on the label show that it is from 1956 and I am guessing it is a 26 in the middle, so week 26.

    The 1084 is the quick start version of the 1082 and is a 300cp lamp. The catalogue page shown is for the 1084 S, which was the higher output 450cp lamp.

    One thing I do find interesting is that the top is nickel plated in the same style as the later 1082 lamps. I do not know whether this has been swapped at some point or Primus used this for their final production. The catalogues only mention the light blue enamel top cap for the 1084 (like the one in the background of your first photo). This has a later production week than any other 1084 lamps from 1956 that I have seen.

    @Nils Stephenson

    Great info, Nils.

    It is 20 in the middle, so week 20.

    Cheers
