If it has a leather pump washer, then you could soak it in oil for a while and then try it again.

It's also a good idea to check the seals on the fuel cap/pressure gauge.

If it is not pressuring, then there are only really two possibilities:
    1. The pressure is not getting in, or
    2. The pressure is getting out

1: Pressure is not getting in:
Pump not working correctly - As Jeff says: Make sure your leather pump washer is good - soak in oil or replace.
NRV not letting pressure in - but you say it looks good - and I suspect you would feel that when you pump

2: The pressure is getting out:
Leaks - Check/Replace your seals - Pump seals - Fuel Cap/Pressure gauge - the pressure gauge itself
Perhaps the leak might be up in the control cock? Vapouriser?
    Holes in the fount(??!?!)

Perhaps submerge in water and start pumping , see if you can see any tell tale bubbles.

I’m restoring an Adia. I too am having pressure problems. Got the check valve working but I want to replace all of the washers/seals. Where can I purchase parts in the US? Thanks Polybus!

The AIDA is identical to the Petromax lantern.
Look for a Px dealership or go to the internet via fleabay or another digital market.
