Hi Fellas, I found this Veritas Nova table lamp some time ago out in the wild, I thought I’d get it back into service. It was all there including the shade. I set about breaking it down and giving it a good clean. Mostly surface grime . It cleaned up very nicely. New seal for the fuel cap. The vaporiser I followed @Tony Press advice. I soaked it for 3 days then put it in my ultrasonic cleaner for the 12 hours I was at work, I did a test run on it and it worked like brand new. All the other bits cleaned out , no webs or dirt in the fuel system. I reassembled it. Pressurised it , all working no leaks, two new 200 cp mantles and away it went, I’m very happy with the end product. Here’s another veritas added to my collection. I do like my veritas
Beautiful old lamp and certainly does go interesting to see the different burners on other examples.. i suppose that would have been down to Falks? regards pb
