I have never seen this model in any catalogue or in a topic on any website. Don't know if it is common or not.
Anyway, when I achieved it, most of the heater was covered with a thick layer of silver painting made by hand, looking awful.
But after some work I find the condition fine, except the loss of nickel plating on the reflector. I also find that the stand probably was painted red in original, I found fragments of that colour under the silver painting. The new nuance is as near as I could come the original.
The base is casted in some kind of aluminium and the surface quite rough, but the entire design is very robust.
Maybe not he most beautiful one but a bit cute, not looking the same as many other models.

    Bo

I have a single tank looking exactly the same but painted grey. Guess it is from some kind om marine stove. Maybe Taylor used the same tank for several purposes.

    Hi Bo

That sure looks like a "Taylors" burner arrangement very similar to the one on my reflector fire here....

Taylors reflector heater silent burner ( RAF )

I still need to fettle the "Taylor" ( managed to find a suitable stainless reflector bowl to replace the rotten original ) i have & as soon as i get some inspiration/time i'll get stuck in :D

    Stu :D

It's a fine heater Bo and I wonder if that company also made lamps? Jeff.

Right, many parts looking the same. I wonder if yours are of an older model?
You really have a challange there, but getting that in working order will be a great feat.

Maybe this post should have been on CCS instead, after all the heater use a stove burner.

I think it's the right place here, Bo.
Even if the burner is of the stove type, the whole arrangement is a complete radiant heater of its own, and not of the type where the heater is a loose part meant as an accessory for a stove tank.

    Hi Bo,
I also have one of these heaters. I found it at a steam rally about twenty years ago. Mine is grey on the base, the support bracket is unpainted, just plain cast alloy of some sort. The rough finish is crinkle finish paint. I know of at least two others, they are also painted grey. I do use mine and it goes very well giving out plenty of heat.

So maybe the red colour is not the original after all? It might have been repainted twice, who knows?
Anyway, now it is this way and I'll keep it so.
