Finally I have been able to finish the restoring of this nice heater. I was in doubt how to do but I find the condition, with a lot of rust, so poor that a total refurbishment was needed. Special thanks to Bill McCall that was able to provide me with a new decal. The original was very fine, but hard to mask when repainting, so I scanned it and got a new from Bill.
An absolutely wonderful restoration Very well done . I really do love those classic heaters. I actualy still have an original asbestos mantle Don,t tell the Health & Safety Gestapo please . I would love to have that model. Again, many thanks for showing such a splendid restoration. Steve.
I agree, a beautiful restoration of a wonderful heater. I desperately want one of these for use when camping but I just can't find one, or when I do it isn't for sale. I've got two asbestos mantles, so I'm ready to find one.
