PL-53 (30's?)

    Finally got around to trying to reduce the halo around the burner. After a 169 from Tilley didnt do anything good, I tried a south korean vendor and that hit the spot. Its happy now.

    Sure puts out a bunch of heat. Love the pumps on these, always so smooth.

    Can you expand a bit about the South Korean Vendor?
    Did you get one of the "cleanable" vaporizers?
    If so, there are two SK vendors selling them. Which one did you get? I'm very interested in these and am tempted to try the steel tube one.

    Yes it was one of the cleanable ones and all I could think of it needing was a new jet once in a blue moon. Easier by far than trying to source a 30's tilley burner. I had almost given up on this one but I wanted to see what would happen. Its not as fancy as the picture would show since its got its share of dings and dents but its pleasant to use and has the original glass with a cage made by Julian Shaw (juliands on ebay). My oldest tilley to date.
