Here are the picture from the lighting hollow wire UNIC. I t was a very easy starting procedure. Preheating with a Tilley clomb- Lighting, 2x needling, that was all after years of non lighting

Refrigeration tubing is ideal for this application, and you should be able to buy it at a refrigeration company or perhaps even a well supplied hardware- or plumbers store. I have even bought my copper tubing from USA at some occasion. It was more convenient at the time, and still cheap enough. 1/8" is the size you want. Or 3mm. if that's easier to get. I have bought from this guy, but if you need longer tubings than 3m, you can go with e.g. this seller who has 16m coils.

Cheers Claus! Yes, refrigeration tubing is perfekt for this. Right size, more than long enough and really soft. If you don't want to make the nuts for the fittings yourself, you can use parts made for car brakes. There are some different sizes, and M10X1 with inner threads is one available fitting for some cars. And I'm pretty sure your Globe follow the normal standard for lamp fittings, which happen to be just M10X1. Below you can see an original hollow wire for a Swedish lamp system with attachment nut as it came when ordering it back then. The loose nut is just simply bought at Mekonomen as a standard brake line part, and it is perfect for the job even if it doesn't look perfectly original. But that's easy to fix if desired.
