Not every lantern is a Tilley It doesn't make it more valuable if you use the word 'storm' Rare, vintage sought after and the like don't mean anything Don't be selling a rusty pile of common junk for serious money and expect someone to buy it just because you want them to! If you live hundreds of miles from civilisation, selling an item for a few £s or $s and then specifying collection only makes zero sense Rant over!

Agreed, but it's often difficult or impossible to know what it is that's actually for sale - like the lot I saw that said there was a 'Tilley' lamp amongst a load of other things. The picture of a cardboard box with a Beano annual on top completely hiding the contents wasn't all that helpful!! Could have been a pink VL1 but it was probably some old wickie-crap...
