I had the same results with those cheap Chinese mantles in my 214A700. A fun little lantern to play with and needs very little preheating!

Nice find! Indeed some rust is coming through on the reflector. I had the steel reflector of my WW2 era FL6 replated. No gauge on the tank...

Looking at the pictures I tend to agree. The larger pump came in 2 versions, both have the early version of the larger pump.

The question/statement can also be other way around as the OP stated: that’s it is not from WW2. WW2 tanks would have the metal/brass badge...
Is the 2 piece case only used on the very early ones? I have seen a FL6 with the decal (not metal/brass plate) on the tank which had the 2 piece case.
