So restoration done , had to get the air tube nuts V hot to separate it from the hood for cleaning decided to leave the tank with its heritage ,...

@podbros Used a fine point mini blow lamp to heat just the nuts from inside the hood , took some doing but got there , 2 came loose , one pulled...
I’ve a good stock of Tilley lamps for parts , I plan to restore them all over time, so have bought a used hood and early burner as a replacement...

Good shout, as much as the glass is cracked I didnt want to destroy it to get at the Vap, because of the handle mounts you cant spin the hood like...
