Utilitarian! It has different asthetics...but art yet in itself!

Exactly! Taste is the primary thing. The last one makes coffee of the same taste as a regular moka maker of the Bialetti type, so absolutely OK.
Quite frankly, I think the best coffe is made in a French press coffee maker.
That's the type I use the most. With freshly ground beans, of course, and carefully monitored water temp when poured on it.

    We like this thread direction.
Lately my Mochas have been producing bitter results, have my tastes changed? Have my ingredients changed? - I'm buying the same stuff.
    Don't know yet...

How about this for a machine message ? I suppose it was moaning about being empty... Sweden - date as shown.
It made really good coffee when it worked.

And you use the same water as before, i.e. you haven't changed locality?

Just out of curiosity... why are you in Sweden?

Yes, I found the machine message very amusing. Apparently the software developer had a sense of humour!
There are other photos on the internet so I'm not the only one who liked it.

No I haven't changed the water supply and I think the theory to go with must be over extraction. As far as I know I'm doing anything differently but there is always the excuse for another test. I have some Mollbergs Blandning Hela Bönor to use for that which neatly comes around to Christer's question about how come I'm in Sweden - work. I do one week in UK and one week in Kista, Stockholm, turn and turn about - it's a lot of fun but too many hours are spent on trains and planes.

Aha. Work in Kista. Do you work in the telecom area or similar?

Mollbergs blandning (not Möllbergs ;) ) is a nice one from Zoega.
I use Zoega coffee myself, and Mollbergs blandning is often the choice I make.

Yes I spotted the mistake and corrected it.

I just made a very slow pot and ended it early. Much improved.
