Picked this lot off marketplace today. The pair of Coleman’s 200A’s are in great condition almost unmarked hoods and tidy founts. Green is stamped 12/81, red is 3/79. Bonus that one has an original bulged Austramax globe that I’ve been chasing for another older Austramax. The Cougar is new to me, clearly a re-badged 3/300 Austramax. With an unmarked hood and a polish it will add some variety to my Aussie collection. The hard case, genuine aluminium funnel and tree hanger were a great bonus. Note the flint/spark lighting accessory on the green Coleman. Sparks really well. Anyone know if this was a genuine Coleman upgrade or aftermarket? Hours of fun ahead.

    Great haul, @Jason Storey!

The flint lighter (often “Coghlans”) isn’t called a “Whoomp Stick” for nothing!

I have a few and don’t use them. A match, torch or taper is a much better choice in my humble opinion.

    Cheers

Thanks for the advice, I’ll leave it in place as a talking point only

You can find Cougar under Austramax in the reference gallery. There are 8 there already. One more would be nice. :)

I may have one in the shed to dig out.
