Still some nice family history wouldn’t take too much to get them running again

Actually, I think I will just move them on. I do not really have the time especially to sort out what parts I need etc. I dont have enough posts either to put them in the sales area. I figure where and how to move them after Christmas. But if anybody is interested they pm me.

It always was 10 posts and I see you now have 14 so you should be OK to post them in the Trading Post...

I was asked by Christer to have another look at this.

So we know a bit more now and it certainly isn't a 221 or 222 'cos a 221 surfaced recently and that is a slant burner with a generator heater tube. So I was wrong to suggest 222 as that will be the wide hat version of 221 but it was a reasonable guess at the time. It's a kero burner on a Quick-Lite fount and collar for sure so 227K, 327K with an aftermarket pump added or 427K which has had a leak re-soldered at the pump boss. It's been worked over with a solder fix and globe cage cut off so on balance I have to agree wih the Coleman guys there just isn't enough to confirm as 227K. ::Neil::

    Thanks, Neil.

I was looking at this thread the other day (and suggested it be moved), because of the appearance of a non-228B burner on a 1935 Canadian 228B:

    Coleman Two Mantle Burner

    Cheers
