    Myn,

I only mentioned pyrotechnic flames in the chapter on match head chemistry, but that’s it.

Sure, pyrotechnics would be a subject by its own and would have taken up too much space anyway.
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to elaborate on the red and white phosphorus incendiaries too much there:mrgreen::evil::evil:.

And were where ye all last Friday night or early Saturday morning?

Its written on the garbage bin: don't throw in hot stuff.
But neighbour thought that the ashes from the fire pit where cold....
But why, why did I just park a solar panel against the fence...
    Hence the clamp.

I hope your neighbour will do right by you. At least no one was hurt.

Wow Wim, that sure is one hot solar panel ....... and it burnt the fence too!

I’m just paraphrasing the insurance company when reviewing your claim.

Seriously, is good that no one was hurt and that’s all the damage there is. I hope the neighbour replaces your solar panel and also buys you a beer or three.
    Cheers
    Pete

In the book there’s a whole section Explaining how embers can slowly transition to flaming combustion....Sadly it often occurs in bins too, and as a result of cigarettes carelessly dropped onto upholstered furniture. As others have mentioned, I hope your neighbour takes responsibility!
