Coleman 201 mantles

Will do, i've got another pump but its silver so not ideal as the lamp is gold, i'm just soaking the pump leather and i will try that as well but i don't imagine it will make any difference.

 

I think i've cracked it, there was a thin smear of dirt or grease on the mating surface on the underneath of the screw on clamp, i've cleaned that and no more air bubbles so maybe it was just air escaping from the pump itself, thanks everyone that gave their advice, much appreciated

Its a collection so had to buy them all,

I use Cadac double tie mantles very successfully. I close one tie tightly!
