Anyone here have info on the Gaz L400 camping light. It is tall with a 1960s modern look and uses a thin gas cannister inside its tall frame. Thanks for any help.
The old 400gram cartridges have not been available for a very long time. The easy solution is to use 2 200gram cartridges on top of each other. This also works for their stoves using the 400 cartridge. Other than the larger cartridge everything is standard Campingaz stuff so they use the same 100CP socks as all other small butane camping lights. (If you're not familiar with the cartridges, some are numbered "190" as they contain 190grams of butane, their size however is the same. Some cartridges also have a mix of butane and propane but that's OK, they can be used in lower temperatures. As far as I know, the Campingaz cartridges are sold under the Coleman name in the US. On the old continent we also have cheaper brands, mostly Asian. Dunno about your situation.) Hope this helps a little, and welcome on board! w!m
