How does this Coleman work

    Today i received two Coleman lamps,one from 1946 and the other from 1919 ,but something curious happens ,the older one does't have a pressure pump .I've never seen anything like it before .Does anyone know how this model works ?

    They use an external pump.
    9 lamp pumps.

    You pump the air in through the centre of the filler cap. The filler cap has a one way check valve built in.

    Hmmm, wonder how they would work? Looks like they were modified, take a look at the generator and that’s not how they should be

    There are definitely missing parts ,tha generator is not working correctly ,i received this part today,but let's try to save her
