Newark itself is quite a nice town with the castle and the river. And there will be other women there if she's concerned about being the only one...

 

Booked my ferry crossing yesterday eve, this year it is just me, myself & I! Hopefully the weather will be nice!

This year, for the first time in ages, Newark doesn't clash with Newby Hall vintage rally, so we'll see you there.

I hope he still shows some of his hunt-downs as there where some nice ones between especially for us nordic nerds

Hello, anyone home yet from Newark? Looking forward to the first pics and action shots!

 

I'm home, but I've got no pictures, so I'm hoping others will have. I saw a few cameras doing the rounds, fingers crossed. It's been a good week, weather wasn't too bad. A bit of rain Friday morning I think it was and again this morning. But other than that it's been fine. In fact I even got sun burnt on the first couple of days.

 

Greetings David - Don't give up hope! There a couple of good antique shops in Rekjavik if you visit there. Got some nice stoves there a few years back.

 

Don't dwell on that one Jean, I, for one, know you didn't mean it the way it was taken.
Shame you didn't come, maybe next year aye
