Quiet on the lamp front.

I obtained this tank recently and the before photos are from the Ebay listing.
I had spare parts in stock, but the gallery is home made and designed to use a Tilley 182 globe.
If I can obtain a genuine Bialaddin gallery and meths trough then those will be fitted.
The last photo shows it with it's siblings.

to my mind plated Bialaddins seem to be less prone to pitting than Tilleys.. i wonder why that is?

i can’t remember if there is anything in Ian Ashton’s great book about whether they used Chrome or Speculum? hm

The Hipolito tank had to be scrapped, it was to far gone.
