One of my all-time best "in the wild" finds. Late nite scrolling on Facebook and this add pops up on my feed that has a link to an app that I wasn't even member off (Nextdoor). Advertised as old gas lantern with it original box and instruction card. Clicked on the link to Nextdoor website and figured it wouldn't be available or wouldn't get a response. Messaged the seller and asked if I could purchase it and when can I pick it up. Got a reply back within 10 min telling me come over the next morning at 7am. This was literally just two minute drive down the road from my house. Could hardly sleep all night thinking about how many messages the guy would be getting. Arrived 7am sharp and sure enough, he had tons of offers way over his asking price, but told me he was a man of his word and held it for me. The lantern belonged to his father in law that recently passed and he was trying to clear out belongings that he had no room for. As far as I know, this is the only one with its original box and instruction card. The box is nothing to be excited about and the only stamp or markings is some kind of warranty that's hardly legible. It took a few days (more like a week) of different techniques to free up the pump/fuel cap. It was seized on really tight and finally broke loose. Looked to had little use and required very little cleanup.
