Hello fellow lampers, I'm glad that it's of interest. Shetland does not have many trees, but if you look through this topic there are photographs of some. Foula is the most westerly of our islands and the Atlantic ocean is not kind to it.
Hello Stevie, that's good to know and this link shows a video about the Faroe Islands which are situated roughly halfway between Shetland and Iceland.

Hello Wim, if you click on the small picture of the article then it will increase in size and then click the arrow at the top right hand corner of the screen and it will increase in size again and then click your mouse pointer on that image to use the zoom feature and then scroll through the article in the normal way. Hello Stevie, yes, it's an impressive place, but it's a long walk to get there, a boat trip there and back again is a better idea, in my opinion.
