    Hello everyone,
I am currently working on restoring a vintage Petromax Model 821 (250 CP) pressure lantern. According to the tank stamp (2915), it is a 1961 post-war model. I am located in Canada.
Unfortunately, this lantern is completely missing its top-end internals, and I am looking for some guidance—and hopefully some spare parts—to get it running again.
I have an empty outer cap shell, but I am entirely missing the:
    1. Complete Inner Hood Assembly (Innenmantel): Need the inner casing shell, mixing tube, yoke bracket, mixing chamber, and nozzle.
    2. Complete Vaporizer Assembly: Looking for a functional post-war style two-piece vaporizer/carburetor loop assembly that matches this 250CP era.
    3. Replacement Glass, I dropped it while taking pictures for this post :(
I would love to know if anyone has cross-compatibility advice for using parts from Geniol, Aida, or Hipolito 250CP models, or if there are modern reproductions I should look into.
Alternatively, if you happen to have a rough, stripped, or bent-tank 250 CP donor lantern you are willing to part out, or if you have these spare sub-assemblies sitting in your parts bin, please send me a PM. I am more than happy to cover the asking price and shipping costs to Canada.
Thank you for any help or leads!

    Welcome.
I would first find a Petromax dealer in Canada or USA.
If that doesn't work out, try Hytta.de in Germany.

Syndigo, You are looking for spare parts for the 250-CP Petromax lamps, which have not been available in shops for many years.
I only have one part each. But these make one lamp a functional lamp and I certainly will not take them out off it...
I fear you will have to watch ebay or other auction sites and be prepared for a hefty price tag.

    Erik
