These very dirty and oily instructions came with my Tilley CS22 two burner stove (found in Australia).

I have reproduced the original page photos, and the illustrations below. I have also transcribed the instructions.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF YOUR
    TILLEY CAMPING STOVE
    MODEL C.S. 22

    USE-PARAFFIN (KEROSENE) NEVER PETROL (GASOLENE)

IMPORTANT. No Oil Burning apparatus of any kind whatever must be used in a room without ventilation. However, an open fireplace or a slightly opened window will give sufficient ventilation.

    UNPACKING

The complete Camping Stove is despatched in one carton. When you unpack you will find that apart from the white enamel hotplate and the oil container there are various other smaller parts and you should make certain that they are all taken from the packing; these parts are as follows:
    2. Vapourisers Type 1560. 2 Burners Type 1562. 2 Green enamel rings Type 1986. 1 Flat baseplate Type 1989. 1 Filling Funnel Type 129. 2 Pe-heating Torches Type 151 each contained in a Bottle Type 158.

TO ASSEMBLE YOUR TILLEY CAMPING STOVE

    1. You will find the supporting legs are folded under the white enamel hotplate; unfold these and fix them by tightening the two screws which you will find under the hotplate.
    2. Fix the flat baseplate in position. This requires to fit over the three pins to form the base with the legs for the oil container to stand on.
    3. Make sure that the Banjo bolt and the Control Cocks on the oil container are tight.
    4. Turn the black Knob on each of the Control Cocks to the “ON" position as far as they will go. Then take one of the two Vapourisers, check that the Cleaning Wire is still inside it and screw it into one of the Control Cocks, tighten firmly with the fingers, DO NOT USE PLIERS. Repeat the process with the other Vapouriser into the second Cock.
    5. Slide the oil container on to the flat plate (referred to in 2) and fix it with the little crew bracket; the position should be such that the Pump is facing out towards you.
    6. Take each of the Burners in turn and pass them carefully through one of the large holes in the white enamel hotplate and slide over the Vapouriser; twirl round to make sure it is seating properly.
    7. Each Burner has a cap which should be lifted to make sure that the flame spreader underneath it is seated correctly into the Burner Body. The spreader should be horizontal. Then replace the cap and see that this also seats horizontally on to the bottom of the recess in the Burner Body.
    8. Place one each of the two green enamel rings over each Burner so that it seats on the cones fixed on the top of the white enamel hotplate.

TO BE READ BEFORE LIGHTING YOUR TILLEY CAMPING STOVE

It is necessary first to understand that Tilley Stoves operate on vapourised paraffin (kerosene). The purpose of the pre-heating is to heat the Burner and Vapouriser, so that when you release the flow of paraffin (kero- sene), it changes from a liquid to a vapour and burns as a gas outside the burner cap. consequently, if you turn on the flow of paraffin (kerosene) too soon, it will be a liquid and burn with a flame and if this happens, you need only close the Cock again and the flow of paraffin (kerosene) will cease. Also if you pump too violently at the beginning, there will be more paraffin (kerosene) forced up than can be vapourised when the stove has not had time to warm up very much, and this will cause a flame which can easily stopped by turning the Control Knob on Cock back to "OFF". In either case, release all air by unscrewing the pump and heat a second me. You will soon get the knack of lighting the Stove easily with the first pre-heating.

    TO LIGHT THE CAMPING STOVE

It will be noticed that a separate control cock is fitted for each burner and it therefore follows that if so desired, one burner can be run independent from the other. However, it must be remembered that if only one burner is on and it is necessary to light the second burner, the pressure in the oil container must be re-leased prior to pre-heating. The following is the method to light both burners:

    1. See that the Control Knobs on the Cocks are turned to "OFF"
    2. Remove the pump; insert funnel and pour about 1 1/2 pints of paraffin (kerosene) into the container.
Replace pump and tighten securely by hand.
    3. DO NOT PUMP at this stage.
    4. Take the torch clips provided and soak in methylated spirit.
    5. Clip these to the vapourisers and lift so that the handles slide into the slots provided in the black enamel draught shields. Ignite torches with a match.
    6. After about two minutes when the flames begin to burn low, turn the Control Knobs on the Cocks to "ON" and give a few gentle pumps.
7.The Stove will light at the Burner Caps; check through the sight holes in the Burner Draught Shields that the by-pass tubes are also alight.
    8. After a few minutes continue pumping until the centre of the pressure indicator on the oil container becomes level with the outer rim. DO NOT OVERPUMP.
    9. To extinguish the Stove, simply turn the Control Knobs to "OFF". It is not necessary to release pressure, but the pressure should be released before re-lighting.

HINTS FOR CARE OF CAMPING STOVE

For maximum efficiency always use at the correct working pressure. Never allow the Stove to run at very low pressures, otherwise a "light back" may occur, and the Burner Caps become red hot.
When the Stove is in use, it is possible for carbon from the paraffin (kerosene) to get into the jets; the jets are simply cleaned by turning the control knobs "OFF" and "ON" "quickly whilst the Stove is alight.
After thus cleaning the jets, be certain that the Burners and the three by-pass tubes on each are alight. The Burners should reignite automatically by the incandescent metal gauze surrounding the caps.
Be careful not to damage these gauzes otherwise the efficiency of the Burners will be impaired and the automatic re-ignition after cleaning the jets will be less certain.
When filling the Stove always use the Funnel provided, because this Funnel, has a gauze in it which will strain dirt. Also, be sure that you keep your paraffin (kerosene) in a clean can.
When the stove is not in use you will, of course, have already extinguished it by turning the Control Knobs to the "OFF" position. There is no need to release the pressure when extinguishing, but as you will have seen from the instructions, there should be no pressure in the Container when you start to re-light the Stove, so simply unscrew the Pump and release the pressure, taking care to tighten the Pump again. It is always useful to make sure before lighting the Stove that there is sufficient paraffin (kerosene) remaining in the Container.
The joints of Tilley Stoves are only required to be hand tight, that is to say, it is not necessary to use pliers, except for the Banjo joint. It is a good thing to go over the joints from time to time and make sure that they are tight, also to inspect the Washers (which should be clean).
There is also a Washer in the valve of the Pump which should be inspected from time to time, as if this is worn or dirty, the Valve will not shut properly and paraffin (kerosene) will get into the Pump Barrel and be ejected when you use the Pump.
If the heat from the Stove is poor, this may have been caused by carbon in the jet of the Vapouriser as referred to in another section. If it is not improved by operating the Control Knob, then it is probable that the life of the Vapouriser is over and a new one should be fitted.

    COMPLETE OVERHAUL

If you wish to completely overhaul your Stove, the following is the method, unless you prefer to have this done by your Dealer. In any case, the procedure for dismantling is as follows:

Always proceed in the order given below:

    1. Lift the green enamel rings off the hotplate.
    2. Lift each Burner gently up through the hole in the hotplate.
    3. Release the Container from the base of the stand and slide out.
    4. Unscrew and remove the Pump.
    5. EMPTY ALL PARAFFIN FROM THE CONTAINER.
    6. Turn CONTROL KNOBS to the "ON" position.
    7. Unscrew and remove Vapourisers.
    8. Unscrew and remove CONTROL COCKS and LOCATING BUSHES.
    9. Using a suitable spanner remove the hexagon banjo bolt holding the arms to the oil container. Proceed to overhaul as follows:

    PUMP 239

Unscrew PLUNGER GUIDE and remove PLUNGER Pump Plunger 238 from pump. Inspect LEATHER and ensure that it is soft and not puckered. If too hard apply a little lubricating oil. See that the HEXAGON NUT is tight. Unscrew VALVE GUIDE and inspect VALVE WASHER. See that it is clean. If it is badly worn or cut turn it over or renew.
Replace VALVE and SPRING and tighten VALVE GUIDE. Refit Plunger taking care not to pucker the LEATHER. See that WASHER 154 is clean and not twisted or broken.

BURNER 1562. (Deal with each one separately)

Remove BURNER CAP and SPREADER. Unscrew the three AIR INLET SLEEVES and remove body from BURNER DRAUGHT SHIELD, Carefully lift the metal gauze from the BURNER BODY; turn the body upside down and tap gently and remove any scale from inside the by-pass tubes. Be very careful not to damage these [20 Leather] TUBES or attempt to remove them from the BURNER BODY, otherwise the direction of the flame may be altered. Be sure that none of the small jet holes are blocked. If the metal gauze is damaged, a new one should be fitted.

    CONTAINER

Rinse out the Container with a little Paraffin (Kerosene). Empty the Container as completely as possible. Make sure that Paraffin (Kerosene) pours out through the Socket on the Container where the Arms are fitted.

    ARMS

Rinse out with a little Paraffin (Kerosene) and remove all sediment from the Filter Case (where Control Cocks are fitted.)

    VAPOURISER 1560

The VAPOURISERS will gradually become choked with carbon and require replacing from time to time. The use of clean paraffin and the FUNNEL will ensure that the life of the VAPOURISERS will be as long as possible. It is important that the JET and CLEANING WIRE are not interfered with, otherwise operation of the Stove might be affected.

    CONTROL COCK 2563

Unscrew FILTER. Rinse in clean Paraffin to clean the gauze. If the gauze is broken or badly choked, replace FILTER as soon as possible.
Inspect VALVE WASHER and see that it is clean. If bad worn or cut, turn it over or renew. Replace VALVE and SPRING, re-fit FILTER, tightening firmly.
If the GLAND NUT is loose, lightly tighten with pliers, ensuring at the same time that the CONTROL KNOB SPINDLE is free to move.

REPLACING GLAND NUT WASHERS 234, IN CONTROL COCK 2563

    1. If the Control Knob is the type marked “Tilley Lamp" on the end (see drawing A) remove by unscrewing in an anti-clockwise direction preferably by FINGER PRESSURE ONLY, but if pliers are used GREAT CARE MUST BE TAKEN NOT TO STRAIN OR BEND the Control Spindle.
    2. If a taper Knob is fitted (see drawing B) it is only necessary to pull this off as it is held by an internal spring.
    3. Unscrew Gland Nut move old Washer, fit two new Washers type 234 and replace Gland Nut.
    4. The Control Knob marked "Tilley Lamp" (see drawing A) is replaced by screwing the spindle in a clockwise direction. Tighten firmly with pliers but taking GREAT CARE NOT TO STRAIN OR BEND the control Spindle.
    5. To replace the Taper Knob (See drawing B) push on to the spindle taking care that the key in the spindle slides into the slot in the knob.
    6. Lightly tighten the Gland Nut withers ensuring at the same time that the Control Knob spindle is free move.

    RE-ASSEMBLY

    1. Re-fit arms position making sure a washer is at each side of the banjo. If the washers are found to be damaged, they should be replaced and a little sealing compound applied to each side of the washers to make certain they provide a heat proof joint. Screw in banjo bolt and tighten hard with a suitable spanner.
    2. Screw LOCATING BUSH (Knurled fitting) on each CONTROL COCK as far as it will go, knurled end first. Fit WASHER 160, insert one CONTROL COCK into each FILTER CASE holding CONTROL KNOB in required position. Still holding CONTROL KNOB in required position screw LOCATING BUSH into FILTER CASE as far as it will go (finger tight). To finally seal oil joint rotate CONTROL COCK in a clockwise direction by applying side pressure to the GLAND NUT.
    3. Screw one VAPOURISER into each CONTROL COCK. Make sure that WASHER 153 is in position; do not use more than one washer. Tighten firmly with the fingers. DO NOT USE PLIERS.
    4. Replace the pump into oil container.
    5. Now slide the container complete with the Vapourisers on the arms on to the baseplate of the stand with the Pump facing towards you.
    6. Take each of the Burners in turn and pass them carefully through one of the large holes in the white enamel hotplate and slide over the Vapouriser; twirl round to make sure it is seating properly. Replace the two green enamel rings over the Burners.
Your Stove is now ready for use.

    @Sedgman

I might make a pdf of the extracted text of the instructions, with the illustrations included. I’ll need to clean the illustrations up first.

    Cheers
