Yes they are.Tilley offered those as alternate globes for a lot of their indoor stuff in the 1930s. Getting hard to find now and expensive when you do but there are at least half a dozen different shapes. ::Neil::

They all look a hell of a lot better than the standard Tilley upper insect guard and appear to be well made. I wouldn't mind ordering a couple. I like the globes and shades too.

    Hi,
We have ever made it in Taiwan. But I think it should be ML96? Right?

Ah, ML96 wooden bases - now I could go for one of those, depending on the price, naturally...

Find a wood turner at a craft fair, they'll probably oblige.

:-k Well yes, Derek, but then wouldn't I'd have to provide dimensions or plans or an example of an object I don't possess...

You would indeed. But if you do not possess such an item, would you want a wooden base for one?

I've got the lamps - a standard Tilley item in many of their products - it's the wooden base I don't have to make one of them into the ML96 variant...

That wood block above is good but not an accurate copy which pleases me because it cannot be confused with the real thing. That is a copy of an Aladdin block which had to have through cut outs because it was designed to be used with a centre draught lamp. The Tilly block side cut outs do not run through but are only decorative. ::Neil::
