Yes they are.Tilley offered those as alternate globes for a lot of their indoor stuff in the 1930s. Getting hard to find now and expensive when you do but there are at least half a dozen different shapes. ::Neil::
Hi CY-lee, I found a website of CCSL(Classic Camp Stove & Lantern)(?) but translation by google is terrible. I am not susre if its a forum or website. But I did see nice pictures of a camping trip/meeting.
They all look a hell of a lot better than the standard Tilley upper insect guard and appear to be well made. I wouldn't mind ordering a couple. I like the globes and shades too.
WimVe ... Our CCSL web crash for a while, we usually discuss in FB. but it setting security... John ... Thanks, very pleasure to join here... Sedgy ... Will post to The Trading post later...
I rather like those insect guards, they look nice on the table lamps... Nice work and a big well done from me...
Hi I'm very interested if you find any body the make them or have some of them please let me know. Thank you.
Well yes, Derek, but then wouldn't I'd have to provide dimensions or plans or an example of an object I don't possess...
I've got the lamps - a standard Tilley item in many of their products - it's the wooden base I don't have to make one of them into the ML96 variant...
That wood block above is good but not an accurate copy which pleases me because it cannot be confused with the real thing. That is a copy of an Aladdin block which had to have through cut outs because it was designed to be used with a centre draught lamp. The Tilly block side cut outs do not run through but are only decorative. ::Neil::
