Still leaking I changed the valve cock seal as well

Empty all fuel from the tank.
Dismantle the lantern including removing the frame.
Wipe off any dust / dirt / paraffin from the tank, especially where the control cock fits.
Put the control cock back in and you should be left with something looking like this


Make sure the control cock is in the OFF position and give 100 pump strokes.
Hold the b@$*@%d thing under water as if you are trying to drown it.
Air bubbles will indicate exactly where the leak is.
Once we know where the leak is, we can figure out the best way to fix it.
