In pic 4 there is a Tilley twin burner heater at bottom right of photo (sorry, don't know model number - not a heater expert). FYI, I was watching one of those on Ebay UK the other day and it went for £122.

That is model R46 and £122 seems cheap. ::Neil::

Wow, I thought £122 was expensive! Shows what I know.

Probably not many bidders as there was a typo in the title 'Tilley raidiator'.

I've seen R46's go for nearly twice that. They're not only a nice collectable heater but they work realy well too. I know a certain Lampie who regularly uses one in his living room.

Seems like a very pleasant gathering!

What are those two bowl fires (generic term) in the back, bracketing the R22? Are they in the reference gallery?

    Thanks,
    Dan

Hello Dan, they appear to be of Swedish manufacture, Primus, Optimus, etc., Jeff.

    Jeff is correct.

I would say that both are Primus.
I think the right one is a Primus 1011, and the one to the left is probably a Primus 158.

By the looks of them, the one on the left is a Primus 158 and the one on the right is a Primus 1011. Both not that common, though I've seen more 158s than 1011s.

Well I won the spanner, so I'll let you win this one. ;)

I like these versions of the Primus heaters with the middle size tank and the wooden handle. I've never made a side by side comparison though, to see which gives more heat. I guess it would be the 158 as it uses a stove burner. It uses more fuel though.
