......, not really. But I had this spare 300 type hood in my inventory for a year or two now and couldn't quite decide what to do with it. I bought a brace of Vapalux M1's from the 60's/70's and have never been a fan of that mushroom style, two-piece steel hood, so I swapped one over. I actually quite like it, might even paint it the blue/grey colour of the mid-40's style lamps. The hood though isn't dated or stamped with an arrow as I thought most were?? So one of the last Vapalux brass hoods circa early 1946 me thinks?:
@Beanie Very nice. I've had a few of those over the years and resold them. Don't sell anything currently though imo, purely a buyer's market. Hoard and wait...
