Hi All I’m saddened to inform you all that my wonderful wife died this morning. I was with her holding her hand when she passed. Her disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), decimated her in just 20 months. She’s at peace now. Thank you all for you kind words. Please light a lamp for her. Pete
@AussiePete Sincere condolences to you and your family for this saddening loss. A lamp will be reverently lit tonight. Best wishes. Regards Jeremy

for you. After each darkness, a new dawn breaks, and brightness and joy may return to you in unexpected way.
Hi All Thank you all very much, my wife’s funeral was yesterday, a hard but necessary day. Without forgetting Wendy, I can now begin a new chapter in my life and pressure lamp collecting and restoration will play a very big part in it. I just want you to know you lot have helped me immeasurably, just knowing that there is sincere help available if and when I need it, again, thank you. Cheers Pete
As we grow older the pile gets higher, a daunting task to keep at least half way up the pile.. When my sister calls me and that's rare, i get "How you doing"? Like I'm suppose to say "great". My siblings and i grew up with parents that when asked the same question we would get "we are doing fine" a week later my sisters calling me in a panic telling me the doctor want's to take both of Dads legs!! So i tell them the truth when asked, not like it makes it better it's just the truth.. I lost my Dad at 90 and my mom at 94 she had Dementia she at least was always in happy mode till the end. I'm with you Pete as we all are, keep your mantle safe and the light inside of you glowing brightly because it's what makes you special in a world that sometimes feels cold and pitch black and hard to see your way. God is with you mate.. Pete
@Peter Lucchini Thank you for you thoughts and words they mean a lot to me. I’m very grateful that, with my wife Wendy, I experienced a truely loving relationship, we were best friends and soul mates. A lot of people, although in relationships, don’t ever experience this depth of love, I’m so grateful that I did. I don’t know what the future holds but I’m going to explore it to the full. Cheers mate Pete
