I found this one on the Bay a while back but it was missing the hood, filler cap and the plate and collar under the globe cage. So I bought a Kildark lantern to canibalise for the missing bits. So whilst the incomplete lamp was cheap by the time I add in the lantern it came out a tad expensive. Worth it though because I have never seen another table lantern. Odd thing though was the Kildark filler cap does not fit and I had always assumed KD and ES product to be identical. No matter I robbed the outer cap from the wall lamp to make it run. In the paper I have for ES they show this model without the collar but with a shaped shallow conical lower plate. However this one has the fitting under the valve which dictates a collar. The paper shows this burner head arrangement for the wall lamp though so I assume both can be correct. A bonus from the Kildark lantern was a near new generator which works very well in this lamp. ::Neil::

Yes but there is an odd thing here. In the same ES catalogue they show the bracket lantern with this configuration but the table lantern has a different globe frame rest. My lantern has to be this way because there is an adaptor fitting under the valve which makes up the space required for the standard lantern collar. I am assuming this is a variation rather than a different model. ::Neil::
