Tilley FL6 (1960; NOS; 2nd example)

Here is the second of my two "new old stock" (NOS) Tilley FL6s dated 1960. The light is dated 3/1960.

This light is the same as the previously posted NOS FL6 posted here , except this one has a later version of the control cock.

The two FL6s were once in the inventory of the Launceston Airport in Northern Tasmania, Australia.

































Like its mate, this one will remain unlit.

I have an address to buy on an old 50s military stock they are black color in NOS condition.

It would be great to see the fox walking at night in the garden of my property

Maybe I need one of these! I have God-knows-what walking through my yard at night! Opossums, racoons, deer, and I swear at least one small bear!! He left a "ransom note" behind when he left!
This is a real beauty!

 

Where in the US do you live George? Have you managed to get any pics of your garden visitors?

 

Tilley floodlights do turn up in the USA..
